Why we shoot weddings as documentary
Most of a wedding day is the part nobody rehearses.

A wedding day is long, and most of it is not the part people rehearse. It is an aunt fixing a pallu, the groom's hands before the ceremony, a quiet minute in a corridor.
Documentary, for us, means we do not direct the day, apart from a short stretch for portraits. We arrive early, stay close and keep out of the way. When a moment needs a small nudge we ask once, and then step back.
It asks more of us, and less of you
You do not need to know how to pose. You only need to be where you already are.
The best frame of the day is usually the one nobody saw coming.
What you receive is a set of photographs and a film that read in the order the day happened.
