Long Story Short is a wedding photography and film studio in Bangalore. We travel for weddings anywhere in the world, from Bali and Thailand to Singapore, Malaysia, the UAE and the USA.
Most of a wedding is not a performance, so most of the time we do not direct it. We stay close, stay quiet, and keep the moments that were really yours: the unposed day.
And for a short while, we do step in. We choose the light, scout the place, and make portraits with the care of an editorial shoot, never staging anything that was not already true: the composed hour.

We will direct the portraits for twenty minutes, then disappear for the rest of the day.
That is the composed hour. We choose the place and the light, give a few small directions, and make the kind of portraits you would find in a magazine, with the two of you in them as you really are.
Then we put the camera down, step back, and the day goes on as it was always going to.
